“ Che dire. Trovandoci di passaggio per Gela ho cercato qualcosa che avesse delle buone recensioni. Visto l'orario di primo pomeriggio sapevamo che era difficile trovare qualcosa. Invece sono stati gentilissimi preparandoci degli arancini (bianchi e rossi) davvero sublimi. Erano squisiti. I bambini li hanno divorati nel viaggio del ritorno. Sia quelli bianchi che rossi erano pieni, abbondanti e deliziosi per gusto e qualità. Trovare cordialità associati a gentilezza, prezzi di una volta ed onestà è raro, ma qui tutti questi requisiti sono stati pienamente soddisfatti. Bene. Bravi bravi bravi. ”
“ Il panificio La Gondola è ormai una realtà consolidata a Gela, oltre al pane sfornano delle buone crostate e varia pasticceria. Ma la loro popolarità è soprattutto legata ai rustici di tavola calda (impanate, arancini, calzoni etc.) e, ancor di più alle pizze di Houssem, un giovane pizzaiolo di gran talento sempre gentile e disponibile con tutti i clienti. Devo comunque riconoscere che anche gli altri componenti dello staff sono sempre gentili e ben accoglienti. Le pizze sono cotte in forno a legna e rispondono ai canoni tradizionali, con prezzi ragionevoli e quindi senza le pretese delle magari più trendy pizze “gourmet”, ma comunque sono buone. Sui rustici di tavola calda vi sono ancora alcuni margini di miglioramento, ragion per cui non attribuisco la massima valutazione. Per concludere, posso dire bravo Houssem e bravi tutti i ragazzi, continuate cosi che ne vale la pena. ”

“ We are two refugees from Ukraine and a week ago we visited Gela city for first time. We saw this wonderful restaurant and we ordered a big pizza and four other delicious foods. When we wanted to pay, the owner of the restaurant told us that all this food we ordered is for free, we were very surprised and very touched. Pizza in this restaurant was one of the most delicious we tried in all Italy, and we are very thankful to all workers of this restaurant, and we very recommend, their pizza it’s amazing! “ Too much cheese on everything You have to wait in an organized line for about 35 minutes. There is a vending machine... There is no display outside the place that shows when your dish is ready to be picked up (there are no waiters there) ”
